Shaking is an action applying to one visible thing.

Understand "shake [something]" as shaking.

Check shaking:

if the player is not carrying the noun:

say "You can't shake what you don't carry." instead.

Carry out shaking:

say "You shake [the noun], feeling only a little silly."
