Taking with is an action applying to one visible thing and one visible thing.

Understand "take [something] with [something]" as taking with.

Understand "get [something] with [something]" as taking with.

Understand "fetch [something] with [something]" as taking with.

Check taking with:

if the second noun is worn by the player, say "But you are wearing [regarding the second noun][them]." instead;

if the second noun is not carried by the player, say "You must carry [the second noun] in order to use [them]." instead;

Carry out taking with:

say "You were always one to make things more complicated than necessary.";

try taking the noun.
