Talking to it about is an action applying to one visible thing and one topic.

Understand "talk to/with [something] about [text]" as talking to it about.

Understand "talk about [text] to/with [something]" as talking to it about (with nouns reversed).

Understand "say [text] to [something]" as talking to it about (with nouns reversed).

Understand "tell [something] about [text]" as talking to it about.

Understand "ask [something] about [text]" as talking to it about.

Carry out talking to it about:

if the noun is not a person:

say "You talk to [the noun], but it feels slightly silly.";

otherwise:

say "You don't learn anything new from the conversation."
