Chapter of the Midnight Excursion

Midnight Excursion is a scene. Midnight Excursion begins when Sleepy ends.

When Midnight Excursion begins:

say "*** Well done! Time for a little midnight excursion... ***[line break]";

now the wooden door is passable; [was passable, used as trigger]

now the wooden door is locked;

now the wooden door is closed;

now the black key is on the nail;

if the broom is in the parents' room [i.e. inaccessible]:

move the broom to the kitchen. [presumably, someone tidied up]

Instead of going to the real Parents' Room during Midnight Excursion:

say "You don't want to disturb your parents."

After going east from the real Drawing Room during Midnight Excursion:

move the father to the kitchen;

move the mother to the kitchen; [ending the scene]

continue the action.

Midnight Excursion ends when the mother is in the kitchen.
